Untitled2015 Copyright Daryl LaBello - Registered I have been hard at work the last six months working on my revisited fine art series, Between: Form and Feeling. Here is a look at some of the latest works. Several new techniques have been incorporated into these including long exposure, multiple exposure, and new background options. It has been great to work on this in the new studio where I can go from shooting to reviewing quickly. After a first review and cull, I generally let the series sit a few days to a week before reviewing the images and begin editing.
As always, I am looking for volunteers, so if you are interested in participating, please contact me.
I am very interested in the long/multiple exposure type images as I feel they help communicate the feeling of the image better and include more subtle details for the view to ponder and engage with. I am more torn about the background, the black is great for making the form in the image standout and pop, but the white adds a whole new dimension to the work.
Please feel free to leave me comments or email with your thoughts.
