Sometimes it is nice to go back and practice the basics. In this latest shoot I wanted to play with light and form more than I have in quite a while. These images all use at least one softbox with strobe, often gridded for directionality. I used the Sony Zeiss 55 1.8 (generally set at 5.6 for these images) on the A7r and then processed the images in Lightroom. This also gave me the chance to play with toning and black and white conversion techniques. This was the first of two shoots, I also did some natural light work that I want to work on in Corel Painter...

And now for something slightly different... I titled this one "The Shroud"
